2 weeks before
A fresh tattoo is an open wound. Proper aftercare directly affects how your tattoo will heal and look in the long term.
Keep the healing film on for 3 days after your session. Do not remove it earlier, as this may damage the healing skin.
Important
It is normal for fluid mixed with ink, plasma, and blood to collect under the film.
Do not puncture, cut, or peel back the film.
You may shower while wearing the film, but avoid long hot showers, baths, saunas, and excessive steaming.
Make sure the film remains properly sealed.
If the film starts to come off before 3 days and the tattoo becomes exposed, remove the film completely and switch to regular aftercare with a healing ointment.
After 3 Days
After removing the film continue moisturizing the tattoo at least 3 times a day until the peeling stage is completely finished.
During the Healing Process
Surface healing usually takes 2–3 weeks, although complete healing of the skin may take longer. 🖤
A fresh tattoo is an open wound. The better you care for it during the first few days, the better the final result will be.
Keep the bandage on for up to 4 hours after your session.
Then
After Washing
For the first few days, cover the tattoo with an bandage (tattoo pad or medical absorbent pad). Change the bandage, wash it, and apply cream every 3–4 hours.
Once the dressing is no longer collecting plasma or excess ink, you can stop using it.
After That
Peeling usually lasts 2–3 weeks, although complete healing of the skin may take longer. 🖤
